YES & NO

Scripture Reading - Matthew 5:37

But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil. KJV
Let your Yes be simply Yes, and your No be simply No; anything more than that comes from the evil one. AMP

If we plan on being led by the Holy Spirit of God it is important to note that we should keep our conversation short and simple. Being clear and concise is another way of stating this point. The shorter the conversation the easier it is to remember, thus if we make one word into a sentence and that sentence expands into a paragraph, and that paragraph becomes a page it will be very easy to misunderstand the point or purpose of the conversation. Therefore, be decisive and brief because this will help God to be simple and clear in your hearing from Him. Remembering that Matthew 7:2 states that in the same measure (manner) we sow unto others is exactly the way we will reap from God! Amen! So remember be precise and to the point.
